Intervención urbana arquitectónica en el sector del antiguo aeropuerto Mariscal Sucre: Centro de Investigación Ambiental

This paper is based on the architectural urban intervention arising in the premises occupied by the old airport Mariscal Sucre; where we take the basic idea raised by the municipality of the city to create an urban park in these lots, for this reason it takes a urban analysis where vocations are obtained and uses that will have the new park for the city of Quito. Approach resulting in a park with recreational and educational uses, with each use of it is strengthened by the different architectural approach in this case is the environmental research center. This project is the result of the study of the study and analysis of different urban areas, where the project is and nfoca in the physical and ideological cultural aspects environment addressed to medium and diversity of the city, being a project that shares activities educational and recreational visitors complementing their educational experience through the exhibition spaces of vegetation endemic and natural areas that make up the architectural project.
El presente trabajo se basa en la intervención urbano arquitectónica que se plantea en los predios que ocupaba el antiguo Aeropuerto Mariscal Sucre; en donde se toma la idea base planteada por el Municipio de la ciudad de crear un Parque Urbano en dichos predios, por tal motivo se realiza un análisis urbano de donde se obtienen las vocaciones y usos que va a tener el nuevo Parque para la ciudad de Quito. Teniendo como resultado el planteamiento de un parque con usos recreativos y educativos, en donde cada uso del mismo se fortalece mediante el planteamiento de diferentes elementos arquitectónicos como en este caso es el CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIÓN AMBIENTAL. Este proyecto fue el resultado del estudio y análisis de diferentes aspectos urbanos, en donde el proyecto se enfoca a la recuperación física e ideológica de aspectos cultural direccionados al medio ambiente y diversidad de la ciudad siendo un proyecto que comparte actividades educativas y recreativas complementando a los visitantes su experiencia educativa mediante espacios destinados a la exposición de vegetación endémica y espacios naturales que conforman el proyecto arquitectónico.
