The present work explores the importance of the cinematographic producer in the distribution in digital platforms, and the election of the same one, and the implication of this one from an early stage of production. It seeks to find a distribution plan according to the needs of the product and how it can be helped by a marketing plan to find answers to decisions that the producer should make. In this case Voyager, a backdoor pilot of the series CERO created to search for audiences, will be the product that will be analyzed. It is proposed to clarify how each project has its unique way of being distributed and the unique characteristics it has in order to know what opportunities the series has. The study helps not to take lightly and postpone the distribution process to the end, but it can shape the decision from the beginning. Finally, through the evaluation it will be possible to determine if the material is ready to be exhibited or if it must rethink and formulate possible answers based on theoretical as well as filmic examples.
El presente trabajo explora la importancia del productor cinematográfico en la distribución en plataformas digitales, y la elección de la misma, y el involucramiento de éste desde una etapa temprana de producción. Busca encontrar un plan de distribución acorde a las necesidades del producto y cómo éste puede ayudarse de un plan de marketing para encontrar respuestas a decisiones que el productor debe tomar. En éste caso Voyager, un backdoor pilot de la serie CERO creado para buscar audiencias, será el producto que se analizará. Se plantea esclarecer cómo cada proyecto tiene su forma única de ser distribuida y las características únicas que éste posee para así saber qué oportunidades tiene la serie. El estudio ayuda a no tomar a la ligera y postergar el proceso de la distribución para el final, sino que éste puede moldear de mejor forma la decisión desde un principio. Finalmente mediante la evaluación se podrá determinar si el material está listo para ser exhibido o si debe replantear y formular posibles respuestas basándose en ejemplos teóricos tanto como fílmicos.
