The proposal starts from an Urban Management Plan (POU) in the city of Coca, which has been studied and planned by the architectural workshop 2015 UDLA. This plan aims to restructure the city for its development and grow in an orderly manner through four areas which are: A. Technology and Innovation, B. recreation and tourism, C. Cultural, and D. Administration and services. .Also counting on several parameters such as: a mobility plan for the city, a new morphology and especially integrating the city with more facilities and public space Area A. In the area of technology and innovation equipping a Centre for Agricultural Management is proposed, this project starts from the needs and problems of the city and its surroundings. The center has to meet agricultural production in a sustainable way without wasting natural resources, through training, planning and research to be provided in the same, whether communities, small or large companies producer. The project will provide the public space and integrate a plant system that mimics agriculture and forming the same landscape, will also help to social gathering spaces with different activities concerning agriculture produce On the other hand the project will use natural and climatic characteristics of the area, improving the area where it will be located, providing more comfort to the user and the non-resident or pedestrian through an architecture that meets these conditions and improve the quality of green areas and public space of the city of Coca.
La propuesta parte desde un Plan de Ordenamiento Urbano (POU) en la ciudad del Coca, el cual ha sido estudiado y planificado por el taller de arquitectura 2015 de la UDLA. Este plan tiene como objetivo reestructurar la ciudad para su desarrollo y crecimiento de forma ordenada, por medio de cuatro zonas que son: A. Tecnológico e Innovación, B. Recreativo y Turístico, C. Cultural y D. Administración y servicios. Contando también con varios parámetros como: un plan de movilidad para la ciudad, una nueva morfología y sobretodo integrando a la ciudad con más equipamientos y espacio público. En la zona A. de tecnología e innovación se propone el equipamiento de un Centro de Gestión Agrícola, este proyecto nace de las necesidades y problemas de la ciudad y sus alrededores. El centro tiene el fin de satisfacer la producción agrícola de forma sostenible sin malgastar los recursos naturales, por medio de la capacitación, la planificación y la investigación que se brindará en el mismo, ya sea a comunidades, productor pequeño o grandes empresas. El proyecto aportará al espacio público e integrará un sistema vegetal que se mimetice con la agricultura y que formen un mismo paisaje, también ayudará a que se produzcan espacios de reunión social con distintas actividades en cuanto a la agricultura. Por otro lado el proyecto aprovechará las características naturales y climáticas de la zona, mejorando el área donde será emplazado, brindando más confort al usuario y al transeúnte por medio de una arquitectura que se adapte a tales condiciones y que mejore la calidad de áreas verdes y espacio público de la ciudad del Coca.
