This work reflects on the importance of sound within the story to create contrast inside a dual world in a cinematographic work. This establishes sound as an essential tool inside the story, which enhances emotions and actions to enter the characters mind. This study was thought, from the beginning, to be put into practice on Disturbance, a psychological short film, developed based on the main character and his actions, having sound as the guiding thread at all times. Finally, the analysis starts from the shooting experience and concludes with examples from other films and this project, specially created so that the sound works as a guide for the viewer and takes strength in its narration.
Este trabajo reflexiona sobre la importancia del sonido dentro de la narración para crear contraste en un mundo dual dentro de una obra cinematográfica. Plantea al sonido como herramienta esencial en la historia, para realzar emociones y acciones con el fin de adentrarse a la mente del personaje. Este estudio fue pensando desde el inicio para ser puesto en práctica en Disturbio, un cortometraje de suspenso psicológico, trabajado desde el personaje principal y sus acciones, teniendo al sonido como hilo conductor en todo momento. Finalmente, a partir de la experiencia de rodaje, se pone en marcha el análisis y se concluye con ejemplos fílmicos y del proyecto mismo, creados especialmente para que el sonido trabaje como guía del espectador y tome fuerza en su narración.
