Description

A contemporary art museum is a building that seeks to influence people’s education through curiosity and looking for new experiences. This building houses art, painting, performances, installations, sculptures and other art workshops looking to implement a new proposal for improvements and new creations in the national and international art, stimulating all artistic practices surrounding our global environment. This project is due to the relocation of the airport in the north of Quito and transferred Tababela sector, this shift creates a gap for the urban development of a new park, this will be a big impact for the city and even harder to the area that borders. This area is analyzed, generating new proposals for buildings, one of these is the Museum of Contemporary Art, form and concept is obtained by the study of the environment and the different axes of the city that major design lines samples for this project.
Un museo de arte contemporáneo es un edificio que busca influir en la educación de las personas a través de la curiosidad y la búsqueda de nuevas experiencias. Este edificio alberga arte, pintura, puestas en escena, instalaciones, esculturas entre otras talleres de arte que buscan implantar una nueva propuesta de mejoras y nuevas creaciones en el arte nacional e internacional, estimulando todas las prácticas artísticas que rodean nuestro medio global. Este proyecto parte gracias a la reubicación del aeropuerto ubicado en la zona norte de Quito y trasladado al sector de Tababela, este cambio crea un hueco urbano para el desarrollo de un nuevo parque, este será un gran impacto para la cuidad y mas fuerte aun para la zona que colinda. Esta zona es analizada, generando nuevas propuestas de edificaciones, una de estas es el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, su forma y concepto se obtiene por el estudio del entorno y los diferentes ejes de la cuidad que muestras lineas de diseño importantes para este proyecto.
