The Valley of “Los Chillos” is a territory conformed by two municipalities, on the one hand the one of Quito and on the other the one of the Rumiñahui. The rapid growth of the urban spot and, consequently of the population, has created distortions in the boundaries between these two regions and therefore inconveniences in the communication between public entities which therefore do not attend the needs of the population. That is why it has generated a master plan that seeks to rehabilitate this centrality, connecting the population of Sangolquí, El Tingo, San Rafael and Conocoto. We chose the denomination of 5 zones within the aforementioned territory, taking into account the pre-existing characteristics of the sector and in this way each student of the Workshop of Architecture XII of the year 2016 will attend diagnosed inconveniences, through the creation of equipment. Thus, problems such as the lack of primary care for a large number of people within this valley are addressed by the creation of a series of equipment in strategic sectors in which the existing infrastructural influence radios do not affect. In this way we opted for the creation of a Type C Health Center in the southern sector of Conocoto. In the urban piece Z4 - Educational (proposed). In this way the problem generated by the lack of such services will be solved, serving around 800 people per day.
El Valle de Los Chillos es un territorio conformado por dos municipalidades, por un lado la de Quito y por otro la del cantón Rumiñahui. El rápido crecimiento de la mancha urbana, y por ende de la población, han generado distorsión en los límites entre estas dos regiones y por lo tanto inconvenientes en la comunicación entre entidades públicas, las cuales no atienden las necesidades de la población. Es por ello que se ha generado un plan maestro que pretende rehabilitar a esta centralidad, conectando a la población de Sangolquí, El Tingo, San Rafael y Conocoto. Se opta por la denominación de 5 zonas dentro del territorio antes mencionado, tomando en cuenta los caracteres preexistentes del sector y de esta manera cada estudiante del Taller de Arquitectura VII del año 2016 atenderá inconvenientes diagnosticados, mediante la creación de equipamientos. Es así que problemas como la falta de atención primaria para una gran cantidad de personas dentro de este valle, se atienden mediante la creación de una serie de equipamientos en sectores estratégicos en los cuales los radios de influencia de infraestructura existentes no afecten. De esta manera se opta por la creación de un Centro de Salud Tipo C en el sector sur de Conocoto en la pieza urbana Z4 - Educacional (propuesta). En Consecuencia el problema generado por la falta de dichos servicios se verá resuelta, atendiendo alrededor de 800 personas por día.
