The present research work "Analysis of the Public Policy of Education in the Unidades Educativas del Milenio program from 2008-2016" is a critical analysis of the educational public policies carried out on the Millennium Units Educational Program (EMUs), carried out in the government of former president Rafael Correa. The objective of the research is to approach the reader to analyze the instruments used by the previous government to execute EMUs in a discourse that is part of the change of educational model through quality education. Through the NATO typology we analyze the resources of nodality, authority, treasure and organization that the government used to analyze and whether this government program produced a new paradigm in the educational system in the country.
El presente trabajo de investigación “Análisis de la Política Pública de Educación en el programa Unidades Educativas del Milenio desde 2008-2016” es un análisis crítico sobre las aborda la política pública educativa realizada sobre el programa Unidades Educativas del Milenio (UEMs), llevado a cabo en el gobierno del expresidente Rafael Correa. El objetivo de la investigación es aproximar al lector a analizar los instrumentos que utilizó el gobierno anterior para ejecutar las UEMs en un discurso que se enmarca en el cambio de modelo educativo a través de una educación de calidad. A través de la tipología NATO analizamos los recursos de modalidad, autoridad, tesoro y organización que utilizó el gobierno y se analiza si este programa de gobierno produjo un nuevo paradigma en el sistema educativo en el país.
