The present graduate work collects all the research information, methods and content about the album book or illustrated book of the indigenous culture of Otavalo in Ecuador, with interactive components for children from 8 to 10 years old from the North of the city of Quito. The purpose of the developed book is to satisfy the demand of Ecuadorian cultural books by parents and people from the educational field, so it seeks to awaken the interest of children in cultural topics of their country, educating them with a dynamic learning tool in school but also at home. Several methods were used. To start with, is a recreational and informative book, so main characters and a story were developed, but it also contains real learning information. Also were included simple interactive elements inside the book, the illustrations were also made by hand to give it another value, also taking into account elements of graphic design such as composition, typography, the image and the use of color. Doing together a very dynamic and different product. Likewise, the results and conclusions are presented within it, thus being an efficient, dynamic and strinking book for both children and parents, teachers and experts in the area, so in the long term it is proposed to develop a sale and promotion strategy.
El presente trabajo de titulación, recopila la información necesaria de investigación, métodos y desarrollo sobre el libro álbum o libro ilustrado de la cultura indígena de los otavalos en Ecuador, con componentes interactivos para niños de 8 a 10 años del Norte de la ciudad de Quito. La finalidad del libro desarrollado es satisfacer la demanda de libros culturales ecuatorianos por parte de padres y personas del ámbito educativo, por lo que se busca despertar el interés de los niños en temas culturales de su país, educándolos con una herramienta dinámica de aprendizaje en la escuela, pero también en el hogar. Se emplearon varios métodos. Para comenzar es un libro recreativo e informativo, por lo que se desarrollaron personajes principales con una historia detrás, pero contiene información real de aprendizaje. También se incluyeron elementos interactivos sencillos dentro del cuento, las ilustraciones igualmente fueron realizadas a mano para darle otro valor, tomando en cuenta también elementos del diseño gráfico como la composición, la tipografía, la imagen y el uso del color. Haciendo así en conjunto un producto muy dinámico y diferente. Así mismo, se presentan los resultados y conclusiones dentro del trabajo, siendo así un libro eficiente, dinámico y llamativo tanto para niños como para padres, maestros y expertos en el área, por lo que a largo plazo se plantea desarrollar una estrategia de venta y promoción.
