The present Degree Project analyses the trade and political relations between Ecuador and the Russian Federation during the second presidential term of Economist Rafael Correa, ranging from 2009 to 2013, in order to identify whether the precepts and objectives of the foreign policy of Ecuador have been met. These precepts and objectives are embodied in the Constitution of 2008; the National Plan for Good Living; the Organic Code for Production, Trade and Investment; and the Productive Transformation Agenda. For this purpose, the project has seven chapters in order to develop a systematic analysis. Initially, it will analyze the documents that contain the foreign and trade policy of Ecuador. Later, in two separate chapters, it will describe the bilateral relations of Ecuador and Russia: in the politics and diplomacy aspects (chapter 3) and in the economy and trade aspects (chapter 4). El presente Trabajo de Titulación analiza las relaciones comerciales y políticas del Ecuador con la Federación Rusa en el segundo período Presidencial del Economista Rafael Correa, que va desde el 2009 al 2013, a fin de concretar si los preceptos y objetivos de política exterior del Ecuador se han cumplido. Estos preceptos y objetivos se encuentran plasmados en la Constitución de la República del 2008; Plan Nacional para el Buen Vivir; el Código Orgánico de la Producción, Comercio e Inversiones; y la Agenda de Transformación Productiva. Por ello, el trabajo consta de siete capítulos para desarrollar un análisis sistemático. En primera instancia se analizarán los documentos que contengan la política exterior y comercial del Ecuador (capítulo 2). Posteriormente, en dos capítulos separados, se describirán las relaciones bilaterales del Ecuador con Rusia: en el ámbito político (capítulo 3) y en el ámbito comercial (capítulo 4)…
