La presente investigación contiene las herramientas y elementos utilizados para el desarrollo de la aplicación web “Sistema de Control de Asistencia Estudiantil y Docente” (CAED), que trata de manera detalla el análisis de las necesidades que tiene la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas, Gestión Empresarial e Informática de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar, en cuanto a la gestión de académica. Mediante la utilización de las técnicas de recolección de datos entrevista y observación directa se pudo obtener la información necesaria para determinar los requerimientos del sistema, los que sirvieron para establecer las funciones generales para los usuarios; para la etapa de análisis y diseño se utilizó la metodología estructurada y el modelo RAD (Desarrollo Rápido de Aplicaciones), en la fase de implementación se utilizó la Programación extrema, que facilita el trabajo en equipo, ajustándose a nuestras características. En el desarrollo de esta aplicación se utilizó herramientas Open Source: Sistema Operativo Centos, lenguajes: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax; Gestor de base de datos Postgresql, manejador de base de datos Webmin, los que permitieron el desarrollo y manejo de la información. Con la implementación del Sistema de Control de Asistencia Estudiantil y Docente (CAED) se reduce sistemáticamente los tiempos tanto como para los ingresos y consultas de información.
This research contains the tools and elements used for the development of the web application "Control System and Teacher Student Assistance" (CAED), which is so detailed analysis of the needs that the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Business Management and Informatics State University of Bolivar, in terms of academic management. Using the techniques of data collection interview and direct observation were able to obtain the information necessary to determine the system requirements, which served to establish the general functions for users; to the stage of analysis and structured design methodology and model RAD (Rapid Application Development), in the implementation phase of extreme programming, which facilitates teamwork, adjusting to our characteristics was used was used. Open Source tools used in the development of this application: OS Centos, languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax; Manager PostgreSQL database, database manager Webmin data, which enabled the development and management of information. With the implementation of the Control System and Teacher Student Assistance (CAED) times as much as for income and information queries were systematically reduced.
