Determinación del comportamiento fisiológico de pacientes caninos sometidos a cuatro protocolos de drogas para inducción anestésica

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivos determinar el comportamiento fisiológico que presentaron los pacientes caninos sometidos a 4 protocolos para inducción anestésicapara lo cual se utilizó combinaciones de; ketamina (8mg/kg) + diazepam (0.4 mg/kg), ketamina (6 mg/kg) + propofol (4 mg/kg), ketamina (7.5 mg/kg) + midazolam (0.375 mg/kg), ketamina (10 mg/kg) + acepromacina (0.11 mg/kg). Para la investigación se utilizaron 40 perros de diferente sexo y raza con edades comprendidas entre 1 – 1 1⁄2 años, divididos en 10 perros por protocolo anestésico. Los pacientes que recibieron la combinación ketamina y diazepam tuvieron tiempos variables de pérdida de reflejos palpebral y deglutorio, destos pacientes presentaron hipotensión, taquicardia, bradicardia, taquipnea y apnea. Los pacientes inducidos con ketamina y propofol, fueron los que presentaron mayor cantidad de alteraciones, observándose; taquicardia, hipotensión, apnea, bradicardia, hipertensión, taquipnea y bradipnea, el tiempo de pérdida de reflejos palpebral y deglutorio fue variable. Los perros que recibieron el plan anestésico a base de ketamina y midazolam, tuvieron un tiempo promedio de 13 minutos de pérdida de reflejo palpebral, además tuvieron la menor cantidad de alteraciones fisiológicas, observándose taquicardia, hipotensión y bradipnea. De los perros que recibieron el protocolo de inducción con ketamina y acepromacina el 50% no perdió los reflejos palpebral y deglutorio, las alteraciones fisiológicas observadas fueron; taquicardia, hipotensión y bradipnea
This study aimed to determine the physiological behavior canine patients presented to 4 protocols for anesthetic induction for which combinations were used; Ketamine ( 8mg/kg ) + Diazepam (0.4 mg / kg), Ketamine (6 mg / kg ) + Propofol ( 4 mg / kg ), Ketamine ( 7.5 mg / kg ) + Midazolam ( 0.375 mg / kg ), Ketamine ( 10 mg / kg ) + Acepromazine (0.11 mg / kg). For the research were use 40 dogs of different sex and race between the ages of 1-1 1⁄2 years, divided in 10 dogs by anesthetic protocol. Patients received the combination of Ketamine and Diazepam had varying times of loss and swallowing reflexes eyelid, these patients had hypotension, tachycardia, bradycardia, tachypnea and apnea. Patients induced with Ketamine and Propofol , those patient had a higher number of alterations observed; tachycardia, hypotension, apnea, bradycardia, hypertension, tachypnea, and bradypnea, time loss and swallowing reflexes eyelid was variable. The Dogs that received the anesthesiologist plan based Ketamine and Midazolam they had a averaged of 13 minutes of loss of eyelash reflex time, they also had the least amount of physiological changes, observing tachycardia, hypotension and bradypnea. The dogs that received the induction protocol with ketamine and acepromazine the 50% did not lose the lid and swallowing reflexes, the physiological changes were observed, tachycardia, hypotension and bradypnea
