En la ciudad de Santa Ana, Manabí, Ecuador se desarrolló un proyecto de acción con la finalidad de mejorar la calidad de vida del adulto mayor. El siguiente proyecto va encaminado a identificar los factores del entorno social que influye en el autoestima del adulto mayor mediante un estudio para verificar la calidad de vida de nuestros ancianos, ya que es común considerar la depresión normal en la vejez, por la creencia que los adultos mayores son personas limitadas no solo en el orden físico sino en el aspecto social. Se plantea la propuesta mediante la realización de un diagnostico participativo en donde tubo prioridad como factor principal que no se ha identificado los factores del entorno social que influye en el auto estima de los adultos mayores mediante que acuden al centro de salud de Santa Ana, entre los factores principales se identificó que existe exclusión social del adulto mayor, que hay un entorno social con deficiente atención para el adulto mayor, carencia de afecto familiar y social al adulto mayor y que hay adultos mayores con deterioro del estado de salud. La importancia de esta investigación está en función a las condiciones sociales del adulto mayor, que fomentan la exclusión y la falta de afecto y ocasionan una mala calidad de vida. Este estudio permite determinar las actividades cotidianas en el adulto mayor que pueden ayudar a prevenir los riesgos de vulnerabilidad física y emocional. Diagnosticaremos el impacto que produce la exclusión del adulto mayor en la sociedad y como esta parte de rechazo afecta en su autoestima mediante la aplicación de encuestas para luego pasar a darle solución a todos los problemas percibidos mediante la ejecución del proyecto de vinculación mediante la aplicación de una guía de terapia ocupacional y emocional denominada “abuelito feliz inclúyeme” donde haremos la participación activa de los adultos mayores la familia y la sociedad para así brindarles una vejez digna con amor respeto y atención al adulto mayor.
In the city of Santa Ana, Manabí, Ecuador an action project with the aim of improving the quality of life of older adults was developed. The next project is aimed at identifying the factors influencing the social environment in the esteem of the elderly in a study to verify the quality of life of our elderly, as it is common to consider normal depression in old age, in the belief that seniors are limited not only in the physical order but in the social aspect people. The proposal was raised by conducting a participatory diagnosis tube where priority as the main factor that has not been identified factors in the social environment that influences the self-esteem of older adults by attending the health center in Santa Ana, between the main factors identified that there is social exclusion of the elderly, there is a social environment with poor care for the elderly, lack of family and social affection for the elderly and adults with no major deterioration in health status. The importance of this research is based on the social conditions of the elderly, which promote exclusion and lack of affection and cause a poor quality of life. This study determines the daily activities in the elderly that can help prevent the risk of physical and emotional vulnerability. Diagnose the impact that the exclusion of the elderly in society and as part of this rejection affects their self-esteem through the use of surveys and then move to give solution to all the problems perceived by linking project implementation by applying occupational guidance and emotional therapy called "happy grandpa include me" where do the active participation of older family and society in order to provide them with a dignified old age with love respect and care for the elderly.
