In order to carry out the investigative process, the problem within the town is identified dropping that one of the least discussed topics is accounting in the hotel industry, through observation is given the institution where develops investigative process identified as such Hostal Grant Mockingbird. Where acceptance by the representatives of the institution is established and the need to establish a consistent accounting system to the new requirements set, so a level analysis of this and other institutions on how it is carried accounting runs, surveys are conducted, interviews and observation records are set, once processed these data show that the study focused on the hospitality accounting is indispensable. In this report very important elements used for the development of research such as detailed: Bibliographical sources used in the research process thereby determining that the work has the necessary foundation for understanding and realization, inside sources have books, magazines, research by other institutions of higher education in the same area and related topics our investigation, determined in all the basis for decision-making is accounting information, methods, techniques, and tools used to carry out the research process in order to serve as a basis for further research and can perform them without no problem since they will have a source of consultation according to your needs. The most important element of this report is the result obtained in the project and as such we identify that accounting for the registration of preventing the economic and financial development of the institution's activities does not apply, and an accounting system developed states office suite in Excel.
Con el propósito de llevar a cabo el proceso investigativo, se identifica el problema dentro de la localidad cayendo en cuenta que uno de los temas menos tratados, es la contabilidad en el sector hotelero, por medio de la observación es determinada la institución donde se desarrolla el proceso investigativo identificándose como tal al Hostal Grant Ruiseñor. Se establece la aceptación por parte de los representantes de la institución y la necesidad de definir un sistema contable acorde a las nuevas exigencias, por lo cual se ejecuta un análisis a nivel de esta y otras instituciones de cómo es llevada la contabilidad, se realizan encuestas, entrevistas y se establecen fichas de observación, una vez procesados estos datos reflejan que es indispensable el estudio enfocado en la contabilidad hotelera. En el presente informe se detalla elementos de gran importancia empleados para el desarrollo de la investigación tales como: Fuentes bibliográficas utilizadas en el proceso investigativo determinando con ello que el trabajo cuenta con el fundamento necesario para su entendimiento y realización, dentro de las fuentes tenemos: libros, revistas, investigaciones realizadas por otras instituciones de educación superior en la misma área y con temas afines a nuestra investigación, determinándose en todos que la base para la toma de decisiones es la información contable, métodos, técnicas, e instrumentos empleados, para llevar a cabo el proceso investigativo, a fin de que sirva de base para próximas investigaciones y puedan realizarlas sin ningún problema ya que tendrán una fuente de consulta de acuerdo a sus necesidades. El elemento más importante del presente informe es el resultado obtenido en el desarrollo del proyecto y como tal tenemos la identificación de que no se aplica la contabilidad para el registro de actividades impidiendo el desarrollo económico financiero de la institución, y se establece un sistema contable desarrollado en la aplicación Excel.
