The accomplishment of the investigation was carried out with the purpose of identifying if when applying agricultural accounting this is constituted in an instrument of generation of the economic growth in the agricultural association the Progress the Guaijas. For which it was necessary to establish theoretical references in order to describe the variables of the research such as agricultural accounting and the generation of economic growth with which the reader can understand the object of study, which required identifying the level of knowledge and existence of an accounting process within the association, with which it was possible to determine the need to propose a process for the application of agricultural accounting within the organization. In order to quantify and describe the object of the study, the research took a quali - quantitative approach that is reflected both in the theoretical framework and in the results obtained by the survey, for which the bibliographic study was used, where several documents, theses, books from both the web and from the existing libraries and to be able to structure a solid theoretical base. The field research was carried out since the primary source for obtaining information is all those people who make up the association. It is necessary to transfer the researchers to the sector where the association is located and to determine the opening to carry out the research. As well, as carry out the application of the survey. Descriptive research played an important role since it was possible to characterize the object of study by enabling the generation of appropriate conclusions and recommendations. The main results of the research are those reflected in the survey, identifying a high level of ignorance, in application of accounting and the need to implement an accounting process, according to the requirements of the association
La realización de la investigación se llevó a cabo con el propósito de identificar si al aplicar contabilidad agropecuaria esta se constituye en un instrumento de generación del crecimiento económico en la asociación agrícola el Progreso las Guaijas. Para lo cual fue necesario establecer referentes teóricos a fin de describir las variables de la investigación como es la contabilidad agropecuaria y la generación de crecimiento económico con lo cual el lector pueda entender objeto de estudio, por lo que requirió identificar el nivel de conocimiento y la existencia de un proceso contable dentro de la asociación, con lo cual se logró determinar la necesidad de que se proponga un proceso. A fin de cuantificar y describir el objeto de estudio la investigación asumió un enfoque cualitativo – cuantitativo que se ven reflejados tanto en el marco teórico cómo en los resultados obtenidos por parte de la encuesta para lo cual se empleó el estudio bibliográfico en donde se indago varios documentos, tesis, libros tanto de la web como de las bibliotecas existentes y poder estructurar una base teórica sólida. Se llevó a cabo la investigación de campo ya que la fuente primaria para obtener información son todas aquellas personas que conforman la asociación siendo necesario el traslado de los investigadores hacia el sector donde se encuentra la asociación y poder determinar la apertura para la realización de la investigación al igual que llevar a cabo la aplicación de la encuesta. La investigación descriptiva jugo un papel importante ya que por medio de esta se pudo caracterizar el objeto de estudio posibilitando la generación de conclusiones y recomendaciones adecuadas. Los principales resultados de la investigación son los reflejados de la encuesta identificándose un alto nivel de desconocimiento, inaplicación de contabilidad y la necesidad de implantar un proceso contable, acorde a las exigencias de la asociación.
