Nuestro país posee una variedad de recursos naturales, sociales, culturales, turísticos, ambientales, etc.; lo que lo convierte en un potencial turístico tanto para propios y extranjeros. En Ecuador la actividad turística sigue creciendo cada vez por cambios en los estilo de vida de la población. En la región andina y costeña se encuentra la ciudad de Echeandía ubicado al Noroccidente de la provincia de Bolívar; su abundante hidrografía contribuye a que se convierta en un atractivo turístico con balnearios, cascadas y gran movimiento comercial que es visitado por propios y turistas que disfrutan de sus atractivos naturales y manifestaciones culturales, especialmente de la gastronomía. De los platos típicos que se preparan en los restaurantes del cantón están el caldo y seco de gallina criolla, los bollos, el ceviche de concha, camarón, mixto, arroz con menestra y carne asada chuleta, caldo de salchicha, sancocho de pescado, fritada y otros. Al cantón Echeandía ingresan semanalmente unas 120 personas entre turistas y comerciantes a los que se debe sumar el 40% de la población que pertenece a la PEA, los que se convertirán en potenciales clientes para nuestro proyecto. A partir de estos elementos la investigación y desarrollo del proyecto de factibilidad tiene como objetivo plantear una alternativa en el cantón, además de invertir en un Restaurante de Comidas Típicas. El Cantón Echeandía, está ubicado al occidente de la provincia, en las estribaciones de la Cordillera de los Andes, climáticamente pertenece a la zona subtropical, lo cual favorece su economía y la mayor parte de la población dedica a la agricultura con la producción de naranja, café, cacao, caña de azúcar, entre otros productos.

In the Andean and coastal region is the city of Echeandía located Northwest of the province of Bolivar; It contributes to its rich hydrography to become a tourist attraction with spas, waterfalls and large commercial movement which is visited by locals and tourists who enjoy its natural attractions and cultural events, especially the gastronomy. Typical dishes prepared in the restaurants of the corner are the broth Creole dry chicken, buns, conch ceviche, shrimp, mixed rice with roast beef stew and chops, sausage soup, fish stew, Fry and others. They echeandía enter the canton week about 120 people among tourists and traders to which must be added 40% of the population belonging to the PEA, which will become potential customers for our project. From these elements research and development project feasibility aims to offer an alternative in the canton plus invest in a typical food restaurant. Echeandía Canton is located west of the province, in the foothills of the Andes, climatically belongs to the zone subtropical, which favors its economy and most of the population works in agriculture with the production of orange juice, coffee, cocoa, sugar cane, among other products
