Utilización de la Hormona Testosterona en la Reversión Sexual en Tilapias en el Complejo la CHOLLERA en el Cantón Pillaro en la Provincia del Tungurahua. La reversión sexual permite producir una semilla mono-sexual de tilapia de alta calidad. El etinil-testosterona (ET) es la hormona utilizada para este fin, pero es un producto de venta controlada en el país, por lo que se dificulta su adquisición. Los objetivos del trabajo fueron la de determinar cuál de las tres dosis (30, 60, 90 mg) permite obtener una buena reversión sexual, Limitar la reproducción excesiva de la tilapia en el complejo, Realizar un análisis económico en la relación coste/beneficio en la reversión sexual de alevines de tilapia. En la cual se evaluó las siguientes variables: análisis fisicoquímico del agua utilizada, Peso inicial, incremento del crecimiento semanal en mm, cantidad de alimento utilizado, porcentaje de efectividad de la hormona, peso final, % de reversión sexual y la relación económica/beneficio de los tratamientos. El experimento se realizó en el complejo turístico la Chollera propiedad de la familia Tituaña Calapiña. Los alevines (8mm de longitud) fueron sembrados en estanques de tierra de 3 m2 y 1 m de altura a una densidad de 300 alevines por tanque. Fueron alimentados diariamente a razón del 20% de su biomasa, con un alimento pulverizado con 40% de proteína cruda y 30, 60, 90 mg/kg de la hormona, durante 30 días. Al finalizar el periodo de reversión sexual se evaluó las siete variables propuestas al inicio. Al finalizar el tiempo de reversión se dejo pasar 90 días para luego llevar a cabo la determinación del sexo de cada pez por examen visual de sus orificios genitales, Se uso un diseño completamente al azar (DCA) con cuatro 145 tratamientos (tres dosis de la hormona + testigo) y tres repeticiones. Las tres dosis de la hormona sintética fueron efectivas en el proceso de reversión sexual. En la efectividad del andrógeno con mayor número (295,3 alevines) de machos fue encontrado en los peces tratados con 90 mg de etinil- testosterona. Seguido del 60 mg de etinil-testosterona con número de machos de (290 alevines), en el de 30 mg de etinil-testosterona encontrado (273 alevines) de peces machos. Y habiendo el 213,3 alevines machos en los grupos de testigo. Y en él % de reversión sexual con; 98,4 % de reversión en primer lugar el tratamiento C (90 mg de etinil-testosterona), el tratamiento B (60 mg de etinil-testosterona) con 96,7 % de reversión, seguido del tratamiento A (30 mg de etinil-testosterona) con 91 % de reversión y en ultimo el tratamiento D (testigo) con 71,1 % de reversión. No se encontró diferencia significativa en el peso inicial y final, tampoco en el incremento de longitud semanal, ni en el consumo total del alimento. La relación costo/beneficio de los tratamientos fueron que él tratamiento D (testigo) tiene una relación de 0,75 USD, él C (60 mg ET) tiene la relación de 0,73 USD, seguido del tratamiento A (30 mg ET) con 0,71 USD y en ultimo el tratamiento B (60 mg ET.) con 1,30 US de relación

The experiment was carried out in the tourist complex the Chollera property of the family Tituaña Calapiña. The alevines (8mm of longitude) they were sowed in ponds of earth of 3m2 and 1 m from height to a density of 300 alevines for tank. They were fed daily to reason of 20% of their biomass, with a powdered food with 40% of raw protein and 30, 60, 90 mg/kg of the hormone, during 30 days. When concluding the period of sexual reversion it was evaluated the seven variables proposals to the beginning. Followed by the 60 etinil-testosterona mg with number of males of (290 alevines), in that of 30mg of opposing etinil-testosterona (273 alevines) of male fish. And there being the 213,3 male alevines in witness's groups. And in him% of sexual reversion with; 98,4 reversion% in the first place the treatment C (90mg of etinil-testosterona), the treatment B (60mg of etinil-testosterona) with 96,7 reversion%, followed by the treatment TO (30mg of etinil-testosterona) with 91 reversion% and in I finish the treatment D (witness) with 71,1 reversion%. He/she was not significant difference in the initial and final weight, neither in the increment of weekly longitude, neither in the total consumption of the food. The relationship coste/beneficio of the treatments was that him treatment D (witness) he/she has a relationship of 0,75 USD, him C (90mg ET) he/she has the relationship of 0,73 USD, followed by the treatment B (30mg ET) with 0,71 USD and in I finish the treatment D (60mg ET) with 0,70 USD of relationship
