The presence and influence of SMES in the economies of developing countries is becoming increasingly important, which is of vital importance that these companies to be competitive and to achieve this, one of the alternatives is the use of technology and much better if this is properly managed. The changing environments increasingly challenges and at the same time, opportunities, which can be exploited by using the appropriate application of models of management of Information Technology (IT); among the most popular we can mention the following: COBIT Quickstart, TOGAF and ITIL. This document provides a reference framework that brings together a set of tools of these and other models, and presents a framework for the IT strategic planning and its follow-up. Additionally, provides a guide which explains the 3 stages of the model: First is the planning stage, then the implementation that defines the way of the initiatives, same that are the result of the planning, the same that must be complied with, and finally, the monitoring of the solutions applied strategically. All this searching the good and the correct management of IT on the SMES.
La presencia e influencia de las PYMES en la economía de los países es cada vez más importante, por lo cual es de vital importancia que estas empresas sean competitivas y para lograrlo, una de las alternativas es la utilización de tecnología y mucho mejor si a ésta se la gestiona adecuadamente. Los entornos cambiantes presentan cada vez más retos y al mismo tiempo, oportunidades, que pueden ser aprovechadas mediante la aplicación adecuada de modelos de gestión de Tecnologías de la Información (TI); entre los más difundidos se puede mencionar a los siguientes: COBIT Quickstart, TOGAF e ITIL. este documento presenta un marco de referencia que reúne un conjunto de herramientas de estos y de otros modelos, y plantea un esquema para la planificación estratégica de TI y su seguimiento. Adicionalmente, proporciona una guía en la que se explican las 3 etapas del modelo: primero, está la etapa de planificación, luego la ejecución que define la manera mediante la cual las iniciativas, que son el resultado de la planificación, deben ser cumplidas, y finalmente, el monitoreo de las soluciones TI aplicadas estratégicamente. Todo esto buscando que se logre gestionar adecuadamente las TI en la PYME.
