Description

This project is about the development of a new product named “Quinola” with his marketing and financial study . The marketing study has been made in Pichincha and it has been identified the target group that is in the age between 15 and 30. The 64,77 % of this group of people said that they would buy this product, so, with the data base of the number of the population of the INEC, it has been obtained that the demand of this product is 49,08 ton per year. But to begin with the production it will be produced 34,37 ton per year, that is near the 70 % of the demand, so the initial risk is reduced. The presentation of this product will be in plastic doy packs. This presentation of 400g will cost $ 2,21. Wit this price the utility of this product is 75 % and after two years with one month the initial investment is paid back.
Este proyecto trata sobre el desarrollo de un nuevo producto tipo granola, llamado "Quinola", con su respectivo estudio de mercado y estudio de factibilidad. El estudio de mercado se realizó en la provincia de Pichincha y se identificó al grupo de jóvenes de 15 a 30 años de edad como grupo meta, que presentaron un nivel de agrado de este producto entre "me gusta" y "me gustó mucho",. Así, el 64,77 % de los encuestados estuvieron dispuestos a comprar el producto, por lo que se calculó una demanda prevista de 49,08 toneladas al año utilizando datos de la población de Pichincha del INEC. Para iniciar la producción se va a producir 34,37 toneladas al año, es decir, cerca del 70 % de la demanda prevista, para así disminuir el riesgo inicial de su comercialización. El producto se va a presentar en fundas doy pack con un peso neto de 400 g y su precio de venta al público, de acuerdo a la evaluación económica del producto, es de $ 2,21. Con este precio se obtiene una utilidad del 75 %, y el tiempo de recuperación de la inversión inicial es de dos años con un mes.
