This paper investigates the psychological process of young women who are victims of rape when they are diagnosed with HIV / AIDS, which gives important information about the process that women have to follow. As a victim of rape, and subsequently the psychological process experienced by a victim of HIV / AIDS, takes into account the judicial, medical and especially the psychological consequences of the victims. The main motivation of this work is that there has not been enough investigation in Ecuador and that the system limits the follow-up of complaints very much, which leaves the victims without protection or help. It is expected that at the end of the investigation the information collected will reveal a reality and improve the intervention with the victims.
El presente trabajo hace una investigación dentro del sistema judicial del Ecuador sobre cuál es el proceso psicológico que viven las mujeres jóvenes, víctimas de violación, al ser diagnosticados con VIH-SIDA, donde se da información importante acerca del proceso que tienen que seguir las mujeres al ser víctimas de violación, y posteriormente el proceso psicológico que vive una víctima de VIH-SIDA, se toma en cuenta el aspecto judicial, médico y principalmente las consecuencias psicológicas de las víctimas. La motivación principal de este trabajo es que no se ha investigado lo suficiente en el Ecuador y que el sistema limita mucho el seguimiento de las denuncias lo cual deja a las víctimas sin protección ni ayuda. Se espera que al finalizar la investigación la información recolectada revele una realidad y se mejore la intervención con las víctimas.
