An investigation of the period between 2000 and 2013 will be used to analyze the relationship between private investment and government spending, and see if there is some form of crowding out in Ecuador. This requires knowing several approaches that will present positive and negative proposals of this theory. To substantiate this analysis will be based on standard macroeconomic models to understand the impacts of a possible crowding out, and econometric estimates of the variables. For more perspective, a brief analysis of the evolution of the most significant variables in the last thirteen years initially performed. This will help you have more knowledge of the country's economy and sustain the best way is research. Fundamentally, to support research, a theoretical model with econometric estimates that pretend to evaluate the relationship between private investment and public expenditure will be provided.
Se realizará una investigación del período comprendido entre 2000 y 2013, para analizar la relación entre la inversión privada y el gasto del gobierno, y observar si existe cierta forma de crowding out en el Ecuador, y sobre esa base establecer el impacto en los multiplicadores macroeconómicos. Para ello es necesario conocer varios enfoques que darán a conocer propuestas positivas y negativas de esta teoría. Para fundamentar este análisis se sustentará modelos macroeconómicos standard que permitan entender los impactos de un eventual crowding out. Para tener mayor perspectiva, se realizará inicialmente un breve análisis de la evolución de las variables más significativas en estos últimos trece años. Esto ayudará a tener mayor conocimiento de la economía del país y sustentar de mejor manera está investigación. Fundamentalmente, para respaldar la investigación, se proporcionará un modelo teórico con estimaciones econométricas que pretenderán evaluar la relación entre la inversión privada, el gasto público, y los mutiplicadores.
