Starting I propose an 'Archaeological Interpretation Center in Cochasquí', with the idea of having a building to support the archaeological ruins in the place, as are the pyramids and funerary mounds considered Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The project responds to the need to preserve and promote the importance of this by creating a Center that is directly related to the ruins in educational, informational, and visual relations, so that generated the interest of the people to these and are given the importance they deserve. Linking architecture over time and place to create a memory where the perception of the project to the people does not change, and generate cultural, visual, environmental and formal relations between them. We propose a sustainable project in terms of which it is subject to changes and variations over time, seeking to meet the needs that may be present, and thus largely not affected over time. I propose also having a self-sustainable project for the future needs of the place and so do not rely entirely on the support they may have or not by state institutions, creating opportunities for commercial support character in the project, such as libraries, leisure for cafes, petty trade and other areas directly related to the history and overview of the site.
Se propone un „Centro de Interpretación Arqueológica en Cochasquí‟, con la idea de tener una edificación de apoyo a las ruinas arqueológicas existentes en el lugar, como son las pirámides truncas y las tolas funerarias, consideradas Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad. El proyecto responde a la necesidad de conservar y difundir la importancia de estas mediante la creación de un Centro de Interpretación que esté relacionado directamente con las ruinas en términos educativos, informativos, y visuales hacia este, de tal manera que generen el interés de la gente hacia estas y se les de la importancia que merecen. El vincular la arquitectura con el tiempo y el lugar permite crear una memoria donde la percepción del proyecto hacia la gente no cambie, y se generen relaciones culturales, visuales, ambientales y formales entre ambos. Se propone un proyecto sostenible en términos de, que el mismo este sujeto a cambios y variaciones con el paso del tiempo, buscando que pueda suplir las necesidades que esté presente, y de este modo no se vea afectado mayormente con el paso del tiempo. Se busca tener también un proyecto autosustentable para las necesidades futuras del lugar y así no dependa completamente del apoyo que pueda tener o no por parte de las instituciones estatales; creando espacios de apoyo de carácter de comercial dentro del proyecto, como librerías, espacios de ocio para cafeterías, comercio en pequeña escala y demás espacios relacionados directamente con la historia y generalidades del sitio.
