This thesis project contains an analysis of the Process of Receiving Patients at the ClínicaUniversitaria, which provides outpatient care to anyone who needs it. The study was conducted in the Cumbayá’s subsidiary. It had started with the Process of Removal and validation of current Reception and the way the staff works in it. Subsequently, the sample’s size was determined to proceed with times study, where a simulation tool was used to help to explain the system’s behavior, according to the distribution that was generated. Thereby, it was also possible to make a Value-Added Analysis that determined the actual state that the clinic is in. Finally, several proposals were made to minimize the time of a patient in the Process of Reception. Additionally, this study provides some analysis carried out to improve the standard of care at the ClínicaUniversitaria.
En el presente proyecto de tesis se analiza principalmente el Proceso de Recepción de Pacientes de la Clínica Universitaria, que se dedica a brindar atención ambulatoria a toda persona que lo requiera. El estudio se realizó en la filial de Cumbayá y tuvo inicio con el levantamiento y validación del Proceso de Recepción actual y la forma en cómo lo maneja su personal. Posteriormente, se procedió a determinar el tamaño de la muestra para proceder a la toma de tiempos, donde se utilizó una herramienta de Simulación que permitió explicar el comportamiento del Sistema, según la distribución que se generó. De este modo también se pudo realizar un Análisis de Valor Agregado que permitió determinar el estado real en el que se encuentra la Clínica. Finalmente, se realizaron varias propuestas para minimizar el tiempo de un paciente en el Proceso de Recepción. Adicionalmente, en este estudio se presentan algunos análisis realizados para mejorar el nivel de atención de la Clínica Universitaria.
