“Under Water” is a fiction short film of 9 minutes approximately that would fit into the genre of drama. This is the story of Abel, a young man that discovers her girlfriend cheating on him, but he does not want to confront it. Tormented by the image of his partner with another man, he can not concentrate, that is the point where Jorge, his rehab patient, helps him to move on in his emotional life and fears. Abel jumps into the water and learns how to swim, gaining strength and self-confidence in order to overcome his terrors. Finally, he encourages himself and confronts his girlfriend, ending the relationship and freeing himself from his fears.
“Bajo el Agua” es un cortometraje de ficción de aproximadamente 9 minutos que se describiría dentro del género del drama. Esta es la historia de Abel, un joven hombre que descubre a su novia siéndole infiel, pero que no se atreve a enfrentar los hechos. La imagen de su mujer con otro hombre lo atormenta a todo momento y no lo deja concentrar, es ahí cuando Jorge, su paciente de rehabilitación, lo ayuda para seguir adelante con su vida emocional y sus miedos. Abel se lanza al agua y aprende a nadar, tomando fuerza y confianza en sí mismo para vencer sus temores. Finalmente, Abel toma valor y se enfrenta a su novia, terminando la relación y liberándose de sus miedos. Dentro de esta tesis se presentarán todos los documentos que fueron necesarios para la filmación del cortometraje, en conjunto con la pieza audiovisual misma adjuntada al final del documento.
