Description

The lack of knowledge on positive discipline and the amount of child mistreatment and child abuse is a problem that is shared by all the countries of the world. Both children and parents should know about positive discipline and how to prevent child abuse and mistreatment. Due to these reasons, it was decided to make a study on the effect that interventions about positive discipline and prevention of child abuse and mistreatment have on parents and children. The present investigation, which was made in the Centro de Desarrollo infantil “Burbujitas de Luz”, found that the applied interventions had a positive influence on the increase of knowledge of positive discipline and prevention of child abuse and mistreatment, both on parents and children.
La falta de conocimiento sobre la disciplina positiva y la cantidad de abuso y maltrato infantil es un problema que comparten todos los países del mundo. Tanto los niños como los padres deben conocer sobre la disciplina positiva y saber como prevenir el abuso y maltrato infantil. Por estas razones, se decidió hacer un estudio sobre el efecto que tienen las intervenciones sobre la disciplina positiva y prevención de abuso y maltrato infantil en los padres y niños. La presente investigación, realizada en el Centro de Desarrollo Infantil “Burbujitas de Luz”, encontró que las intervenciones tienen un efecto positivo en el aumento del conocimiento sobre la disciplina positiva y prevención de abuso y maltrato infantil en padres y niños.
