This project starts with an analysis of the processes that are performed in the Production Department of the delivery company Urbano Express. The operations and activities identified are then used to perform a time study which is carried out in order to establish standard times for the production of several important products made by the Company. Then, a methodology to make the tactical and operative planning for the Production Department of Urbano Express is determined. This methodology takes into account information from the time study and forecasts of future demand to develop an aggregate plan of production and a master production schedule. Later, based on the results from the aggregate plan and the master production schedule, the required amount of regular workforce is determined.
En el presente proyecto se realizó un levantamiento de los procesos que se llevan a cabo en el Departamento de Producción de Urbano Express. Las actividades analizadas a partir del levantamiento, luego son utilizadas como los elementos para los cuales se realiza un estudio de tiempos con el fin de establecer tiempos estándares de producción para los productos de la Empresa. A continuación, se propone una metodología para realizar la planificación táctica y operativa para el Departamento de Producción de la Empresa. Esta metodología toma en cuenta la información del estudio de tiempos y la realización de pronósticos de la demanda para desarrollar un plan agregado y una programación maestra de la producción.
