El cantón Patate inicia su vida institucional el 13 de septiembre 1973. El Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal San Cristóbal de Patate. Patate posee, un cálido clima, en donde uno puede apreciar, los tradicionales frutales que esta tierra brinda, como son sus grandes viñedos, las plantaciones de mandarinas, aguacates, granadillas, babacos, etc. Así como caminar por su encantador parque decorado con atractivas flores multicolores y cautivadores árboles propios del lugar, como sus llamativas casas de tipo colonial, aún construidas con adobe. Para el presente trabajo de investigación se ha realizado un Análisis del Sistema de Recaudaciones y la Gestión Administrativa del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal San Cristóbal de Patate, cuyas funciones y actividades están contenidas en la ordenanza municipal que contiene la estructura orgánica, los niveles y funciones de la municipalidad. Se pudo identificar claramente mediante la aplicación de las encuestas la falta de estrategias con la finalidad de organizar y ejecutar la administración y recaudación de todos los ingresos tributarios y no tributarios. Resultados que nos llevaron al diseño de un plan de acción, estrategias, políticas y lineamientos más importantes, propuesto para el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal San Cristóbal de Patate.

Patate possesses, a warm climate, in where one can appreciate, the traditional fruit that this land provides, as are its large vineyards, them plantations of mandarins, avocados, granadillas, Norte, etc. As well as walking by its charming park decorated with attractive colorful flowers and captivating trees typical of the place, as its striking colonial type houses, even built with adobe. For the present work of research is has made an analysis of the system of revenues and the management administrative of the Government autonomous decentralized Municipal San Cristobal of Patate, whose functions and activities are contained in the Ordinance municipal that contains the structure organic, them levels and functions of the municipality. Is could identify clearly through the application of them surveys the lack of strategies with the purpose of organize and run the Administration and fundraising of all them income tax and not tax. Results that US led to the design of a plan of action, strategies, policies and guidelines more important, proposed for the Government autonomous decentralized Municipal San Cristobal of Patate.
