Este trabajo de investigación tiene el propósito de realizar un análisis profundo sobre las “Estrategias de aprendizaje activo y capacidades intelectuales”, se sustenta en la falta de aplicación de estrategias por parte de los docentes en la enseñanza- aprendizaje en los estudiantes de décimo año de Educación Básica. El desarrollo de este estudio se lo ha realizado a través de una investigación de campo en función de técnicas de aplicación como la encuesta a maestros y estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa “Alberto Acosta Soberón”, este proceso se fundamenta en la aplicación de métodos investigativos inductivo, deductivo y analítico. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación determinan la importancia de la utilización de estrategias de aprendizaje activo, además se establece la necesidad que todos los maestros de la unidad educativa se concientice en manejar estrategias para potenciar las capacidades intelectuales de sus estudiantes, lo que posibilitará la enseñanza- aprendizaje y mejorar día a día su rendimiento académico.
This research aims to conduct a thorough analysis of the "active learning strategies and intellectual capacities", is based on the lack of implementation of strategies by teachers in teaching and learning in students of tenth year Basic Education. The development of this study has been performed through field research techniques based survey application as teachers and students of the Education Unit "Alberto Acosta Soberón" this process is based on the application of inductive research methods deductive and analytical. The results obtained in this investigation determine the importance of using active learning strategies also need to all teachers in the educational unit made aware in managing strategies to enhance the intellectual capacities of students is established, which will enable teaching - learning and improving every day their academic performance
