El siguiente trabajo contiene el desarrollo del proyecto Parque – Biblioteca para la ciudad de Durán, basado en los requerimientos propuestos por el programa de emprendimiento e innovación del GAD cantonal. El objetivo principal del proyecto es generar participación e interacción entre los usuarios de Durán, así como también fomentar la formación permanente y de autoaprendizaje a través de espacios confortables y flexibles que se adapten a las necesidades del usuario e integrándolo con las actividades que se dan en los alrededores. El proyecto busca integrarse formalmente al entorno por medio de un juego de cubiertas que simulen la sinuosidad de los cerros existentes, que se pueden apreciar desde las terrazas escalonadas planteadas en el proyecto. El proyecto se adapta al parque por medio de patios interiores y por un eje de circulación que atraviesa el proyecto conectándolo con los equipamientos aledaños al terreno.
The following work contains the development of the Park – Library project for Duran city, based on the requirements proposed by the cantonal GAD's entrepreneurship and innovation program. The main objective of the project is to generate participation and interaction among Duran users, as well as to promote lifelong learning and self-learning through comfortable and flexible spaces that adapt to the user's needs and integrate it with the surrounding activities. The project seeks to be formally integrated into the surroundings by means of a set of roofs that simulate the sinuosity of the existing hills, which can be appreciated from the staggered terraces proposed in the project. The project adapts to the park by means of inner courtyards and a circulation axis that crosses the project connecting it with the surrounding equipment.
