Monte Sinaí es uno de los sectores más vulnerables de la ciudad de Guayaquil en dónde el acceso a una educación digna no es un derecho para todos, por lo cuál el proyecto de Centro educativo propone el acceso a la educación mediante una infraestructura pensada en la seguridad, crecimiento cultural y desarrollo para los niños de la comunidad, el fin es poder equipar este tipo de infraestructura y poder otorgar visibilidad a los usuarios de esta zona en dónde normalmente no ha existido asistencia por parte del Estado, la escuela también es pensada como espacio para la comunidad, en cuánto a biblioteca, auditorio, talleres y canchas. El diseño del bloque administrativo fue pensado cómo espacio público y comunitario durante las horas y días que los alumnos no las usan, por otro lado esta edificación también está pensada como lugar de refugio de la población en caso de desastres de cualquier índole. Este proyecto busca crear una conexión que integre a la escuela con el bosque protector Papagayo y favorezca mediante sus recorridos, patios, huertos y lugares de estar, el encuentro, interacción y cohesión social de estudiantes y usuarios en general del centro educativo. El siguiente trabajo presenta el desarrollo del proyecto: Centro educativo en Monte Sinaí, en los aspectos funcionales, formales, constructivos y ambientales que han sido resultado de un proceso investigativo el cuál a través de recursos como la observación han originado las directrices bajo las cuales este proyecto se desenvuelve, en busca de el bienestar y desarrollo educativo de los niños en Monte Sinaí.
Mount Sinai is one of the most vulnerable sectors of the city of Guayaquil where access to a decent education is not a right for all, so the Educational Center project proposes access to education through an infrastructure designed for security, cultural growth and development for the children of the community, the aim is to be able to equip this type of infrastructure and to be able to give visibility to users in this area where there has normally been no State assistance, the school is also intended as a space for the community, in terms of library, auditorium, workshops and courts. The design of the administrative block was designed as a public and community space during the hours and days that students do not use, on the other hand this building is also intended as a place of refuge for the population in case of disasters of any kind. This project seeks to create a connection that integrates the school with the Papagayo protective forest and favors through its routes, courtyards, orchards and living places, the encounter, interaction and social cohesion of students and users in general of the educational center. The following paper presents the development of the project: Educational center in Mount Sinai, in functional aspects, formal, constructive and environmental results of an investigative process which through resources such as observation have originated the guidelines under which this project is carried out, in search of the welfare and educational development of children in Mount Sinai.
