Soccer is the favorite sport of Quito citizens and thousands of them practice it generally in synthetic surface. Over the last 7 years the synthetic grass pitch rental business in the city has grown enormously and has become highly competitive; according to Jefferson Carrasco, manager of Imports Kao, one of the big sporting goods distribution companies, the sports goods boom has grown since 2010, evidencing the opening of more stores and growth in sales of soccer and other sports products. With the rise of that business, there have been problems of injuries to the joints of football players due to the greater impact suffered by knees and ankles, as well as burns from the friction of the synthetic material with the skin. A clear example of the incidence of injuries is the Christian Benítez Stadium in Guayaquil which, with its artificial lawn, caused at least two players per game to be injured, according to the Doctor of the Ministerio del Deporte: Pablo Cisneros. In the absence of an option that does not imply a greater risk of injury, people are copying the facilities of the sports complexes of the capital that offer this service every week, although they are aware that they are exposed to the situations mentioned above. In this way, an alternative is necessary that returns to the traditional natural grass, surface that has less incidence in lesions of this type. The present business plan is the solution to this type of problems by offering a specialized natural turf for soccer practice, with stadium type quality and necessary lawn care to maintain its consistency. The current business plan analyzes the customer, the market, the project environments and other aspects that define the feasibility or not. Likewise, the financial feasibility of “Hoy se juega” is analyzed by means of the study of revenues and costs, as well as the projection of the financial statements.
El fútbol es el deporte favorito de los quiteños y miles de ellos lo practican generalmente en superficie sintética. Justamente, durante los últimos 7 años el negocio de alquiler de canchas de césped sintético en la ciudad ha crecido de gran manera y se ha hecho sumamente competitivo; de esto de fe Jefferson Carrasco, gerente de Importaciones Kao, una de las grandes empresas distribuidoras de productos deportivos, quien indica que el boom de venta de artículos deportivos ha crecido desde 2010 evidenciándose en la apertura de más locales, y crecimiento en ventas de productos de fútbol y otros deportes. Con el auge de ese negocio, han surgido problemas de lesiones en las articulaciones de los futbolistas debido al mayor impacto que sufren rodillas y tobillos, además de quemaduras por la fricción del material sintético con la piel. Un claro ejemplo de la incidencia de lesiones es el Estadio Christian Benítez de Guayaquil que, con su gramado artificial, provocaba que al menos dos jugadores por partido resulten lesionados, según el Doctor del Ministerio del Deporte: Pablo Cisneros. Al no existir una opción que no les implique mayor riesgo de lesión, las personas copan las instalaciones de los complejos deportivos de la capital que ofertan este servicio cada semana, a pesar de que están conscientes que se exponen a las situaciones anteriormente mencionadas. De esta manera es necesaria una alternativa que regrese al tradicional césped natural, superficie que tiene menor incidencia en lesiones de este tipo. El presente plan de negocio es la solución a este tipo de problemas al ofrecer un césped natural especializado para práctica de fútbol, con calidad tipo estadio y cuidados necesarios del gramado para mantener su consistencia. En el actual plan de negocio se analiza al cliente, al mercado, los entornos del proyecto y otros aspectos que definen la viabilidad o no de éste. Asimismo, se analiza la factibilidad financiera de “Hoy se juega” mediante el estudio de ingresos y costos, así como la proyección de los estados financieros.
