The Pediatric Hospital Baca Ortiz provides medical care exclusively for the pediatric population of the country since July 14, 1948, thanks to the donation of the property of the husbands Baca Ortiz, in such a way that it has become a symbol of protection for The childhood: in this way the words of José Martí are remembered There is nothing more important than a child. Due to the great demand for medical care and through the implementation of Reference and Counter-Referral Systems, in addition to the Implementation of the Hosvital Computer System, users obtain immediate and timely medical attention, avoiding delays in receiving care, self-service oversaturation and agility In the reception of transferred patients. For this reason it is necessary to carry out the evaluation of this system in order to obtain a global vision and in the future to have the necessary strategies that provide a benefit for the user. This study consists of Evaluating the Implementation of the Hosvital Computer System in the Emergency Service, in such a way that its development will be carried out through a descriptive cross-sectional design, through the Survey Technique applied to the Emergency Service Personnel. According to the data analysis shows positive results, which translates that there is satisfactory compliance of the model and health policies by the staff of the Emergency Service that works in this institution.
El Hospital Pediátrico Baca Ortiz brinda atención médica exclusivamente para la población pediátrica del país desde el 14 de julio 1948, gracias a la donación de la propiedad de los esposos Baca Ortiz, de tal manera que ha llegado a convertirse en símbolo de protección para la infancia: de esta manera se recuerda las palabras de José Martí No hay nada más importante que un niño. Por la gran demanda de atención médica y mediante la implementación de los Sistemas de Referencia y Contrarreferencia, además la Implementación del Sistema Informático Hosvital los usuarios obtienen la atención médica inmediata y oportuna, evitando la demora en ser atendido, sobresaturación propia del servicio y la agilidad en la recepción de pacientes transferidos. Por tal motivo es necesario realizar la evaluación de este sistema para obtener una visión global y a futuro contar con estrategias necesarias que proporcionen un beneficio para el usuario. Este estudio consiste en Evaluar la Implementación del Sistema Informático Hosvital en el Servicio de Emergencia, de tal manera que se llevará a cabo su desarrollo mediante un diseño de tipo descriptivo de corte transversal, mediante la Técnica de Encuesta aplicada al Personal del Servicio de Emergencia. De acuerdo al análisis de datos demuestra resultados positivos, lo que traduce que existe el cumplimiento satisfactorio del modelo y políticas de Salud por parte del personal del Servicio de Emergencia que labora en esta institución.
