Description

The proposal made by the ARO-960 workshop in the Los Chillos Zonal Administration and the Rumiñahui canton, aims to reactivate and restructure the different areas of the parishes, to dynamize them, consolidating the existing centralities and maintaining the character of each zone to complement each other, these areas are: the area of education, financial, cultural, productive and tourism. Within the cultural zone 4 clusters are proposed, which are composed of different equipment that foments the cultural character within the sector. In cluster 1-Z2 it is proposed to implement a public library, which was born to cover and satisfy the needs of various schools that are in the sector and even the people living inside the parish of Sangolquí, in order that is transformed into a cultural space based on knowledge, which contains different types of learning both digital for the new generations as the traditional. This project will help the development of a space where there are different types of social relationships within and outside the project, making the library an area for social development based on different activities based on knowledge and how it functions as an articulating nucleus for their complementary spaces. Likewise, this project will be part of and will be a reference within the Sangolquí parish, as it will represent and present the history of both the Rumiñahui canton and the development and growth of Sangolquí, in order to document and publicize its customs, showing in a tangible way the importance of this parish for the development of the Los Chillos Zonal administration and for the development of the Metropolitan District of Quito.
La propuesta realizada por el taller ARO-960 en la Administración Zonal Los Chillos y el cantón de Rumiñahui, tiene como objetivo reactivar y reestructurar las distintas zonas de las parroquias, para dinamizarlas, consolidando las diferentes centralidades ya existentes y manteniendo el carácter de cada zona para que se complementen entre sí, estas zonas son: la zona de educación, financiera, cultural, productivo y turística. Dentro de la zona cultural se proponen 4 clusters, los cuales están compuestos por diferentes equipamientos que fomenten el carácter cultural dentro del sector. En el cluster 1-Z2 se propone implementar una biblioteca pública, la cual nace para cubrir y satisfacer las necesidades de diversos colegios que se encuentran en el sector e incluso a las personas que viven dentro de la parroquia de Sangolquí, con el fin de que se transforme en un espacio cultural basado en el conocimiento, el cual contenga diversos tipos de aprendizaje tanto digital para las nuevas generaciones como la tradicional. Este proyecto ayudara al desarrollo de un espacio en donde existan diferentes tipos de relaciones sociales dentro como fuera del proyecto, convirtiendo a la biblioteca en un área para el desarrollo social en base a distintas actividades en función del conocimiento y como este funciona como un núcleo articulador para sus espacios complementarios. De igual manera este proyecto formara parte y será un referente dentro de la parroquia de Sangolquí, ya que representará y dará a conocer la historia tanto del cantón Rumiñahui como el desarrollo y crecimiento de Sangolquí, con el fin de lograr documentar y dar a conocer sus costumbres, mostrando de una manera tangible la importancia de esta parroquia para el desarrollo de la administración Zonal Los Chillos como para el desarrollo del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito.
