Esta investigación está relacionada con la higiene dental de los niños menores de 4 años del Centro Infantil del Buen Vivir Fuente de Vida, en el cual se destaca la importancia de las técnicas del cepillado dental y la estimulación que antecede a la higiene bucal, desde antes que salga el primer diente, para evitar la formación de caries y otras enfermedades en la cavidad bucal. Además se tratan los medios de prevención como el flúor, los sellantes y las visitas periódicas al odontólogo. Las charlas también juegan una papel importante porque se deben proporcionar a los padres de familia, a las auxiliares del Centro Infantil y la coordinadora, y a los niños de 3 a 4 años, para que puedan motivarse en el cuidado de la higiene bucal, y así poder tener familias con un mejor estilo de vida, como lo requiere el Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir, en el Objetivo 3 conjuntamente con sus políticas y metas.

People in the study are among the 10 cases of morbidity psychiatric. Not all organized groups belong to families, most of them are dysfunctional families and troubled family history of cases of addictions to alcohol, drugs. The socio-cultural situation is a very important factor which has not them allowed to have knowledge of the importance of health and applying standards and lifestyles appropriate in all that relates to toilet habits, adequate food and the interrelation between them to enjoy optimal overall health. Another factor influencing the problem of periodontal disease It is the emotional state and mental state of patients. People with this type of mental health problems such as the Schizophrenia in which they are not aware of the reality in which They meet and are addressed by relatives. In these cases the patient depends directly on the family as they alone will not take care of their personal integrity.
