El presente trabajo de investigación lo he realizado en la parroquia “San Simón” Cantón Guaranda Provincia Bolívar durante el año 2010. Por falta de un inventario de lugares interesantes para el turismo, se plantea como objetivo principal, desarrollar el Inventario de Manifestaciones Culturales y Sitios Naturales de acuerdo a la guía metodológica del Ministerio de Turismo, estableciendo la clasificación y jerarquización de cada uno de los sitios naturales y culturales de acuerdo a su categoría. Con la realización del Inventario de Manifestaciones Culturales y Sitios Naturales influye al desarrollo turístico, razón por la cual para la comprobación de hipótesis he utilizado una estrategia metodológica de tipo descriptivo, explicativo y también la investigación de campo, por que las informaciones son recogidas de los moradores de la parroquia y la aplicación del método inductivo y deductivo , para lo cual se aplicó la encuesta y entrevista a 5.350 habitantes aproximadamente de los cuales deduciendo como tamaño de la muestra, un total de 358 moradores. El análisis e interpretación de los resultados, nos ha permitido llegar a concluir de que nuestra parroquia cuenta con recursos promisorios para el turismo, como para convertirse en un destino turístico significativo, por lo cual es importante implementar un inventario, con toda la información necesaria de estos atractivos que pueda servir de base para el desarrollo turístico. Para el cumplimiento de la propuesta he realizado lo siguiente: visitar todas las comunidades, obtener la información de los moradores que conocen los diferentes sitios que puedan ser inventariados y jerarquizados y categorizados como patrimonio turístico de esta parroquia.
This research I have done in the parish "San Simon" Canton Guaranda Bolivar Province in 2010. For lack of an inventory of interesting tourist places, it is proposed as the main objective is to develop the inventory of cultural events and natural sites according to the methodological guide of the Ministry of Tourism, establishing the classification and ranking of each natural sites and cultural according to its category. With the inventory of cultural events and Natural Sites influence tourism development, reason for hypothesis testing I used a methodological strategy of descriptive explanatory type and field research, for which the information is collected from residents of the parish and the application of inductive and deductive method, for which the survey and interview was applied to approximately 5,350 inhabitants which deducting as sample size, a total of 358 inhabitants. The analysis and interpretation of results, has allowed us to conclude that our parish has promising resources for tourism, and to become a significant tourist destination, so it is important to implement an inventory, with all the necessary information these attractions that can serve as a basis for tourism development. To comply with the proposal I have done the following: visit all communities get the information of the inhabitants who know the different sites that can be inventoried and prioritized and categorized as a tourist heritage of this parish.
