The ecological architecture is a movement generated by the philosopher Arne Naess in 1972, described by conceiving the human being as part of the natural system and not as an isolated entity that only uses the ecosystem. Within the theory of the deep ecology is beyond the preservation of the diversity of species and in turn the realization of the human being. With this theoretical basis you can create an architecture that make sure the coexistence with the environment and try to keep the conservation of the species. It is for this reason that in the Pastaza province in the city of Puyo is strives to develop an Environmental Education Center, to give to know how important it is for man the environment because, as is general knowledge of Puyo is one of the cities of the Amazon region that still keeps a great unspoiled natural areas, despite the increase in population was not intended to cause damage to these areas.
La arquitectura ecológica, es un movimiento generado por el filósofo Arne Naess en el año 1972, se describe por concebir al ser humano como parte del sistema natural y no como un ente aislado que solamente se sirve del ecosistema. Dentro de la teoría de la ecología profunda se halla la preservación de las diversidad de especies y a su vez la autorrealización del ser humano. Con esta base teórica se puede crear una arquitectura que cuide la convivencia con el entorno y procure mantener la conservación de las especies. Es por este motivo que en la provincia de Pastaza, en la ciudad de Puyo se tiene como propósito diseñar un Centro de Educación Ambiental, para dar a conocer lo importante que es para el hombre el medio ambiente, pues como es de conocimiento general Puyo es una de las ciudades de la región Amazónica que aún mantiene grandes áreas naturales vírgenes, a pesar del aumento poblacional se pretende no causar daños a dichas áreas.
