The project of building a factory fire extinguishers whose facilities will be located in the city of Quito, the company name will ECUAEXTINTORES SA with your brand Vulcan, was initially dedicated to manufacture and market extinguishers 2 and 10 pounds ABC type, these products are aimed at vehicle owners, owners of commercial establishments and individuals responsible for industrial safety in enterprises; the marketing of these products will be through the supermarket channel as Commercial Kywi SA and Ferrisariato and specialty stores. The market size is currently $ 4'850.000,00, which corresponds to usd.2'240.000,00 10 pounds ABC fire extinguishers and extinguishers 2lbs usd.960.000,00 to ABC. Importantly, after making the financial analysis NPV net present value it gives a positive value of $ 1'336.133,9 that shows that the project is viable. We also have an Internal Rate of Return IRR of 45%, which shows us that this is the maximum rate that can be deducted for the NPV remains positive. The company plans in the short term plans to diversify production to other types of extinguishers to meet the local market, also in the medium term is expected to enter with these products to Peruvian and Colombian markets with whom we have a free trade agreement.
El proyecto de creación de una fábrica de extintores cuyas instalaciones se ubicarán en la ciudad de Quito, el nombre de la empresa será ECUAEXTINTORES S.A con su marca VULCANO, se dedicará inicialmente a fabricar y comercializar extintores de 2 y 10 libras tipo ABC, estos productos están dirigidos a propietarios de vehículos, dueños de establecimientos comerciales y personas responsables de la seguridad industrial en las empresas; la comercialización de estos productos será a través del canal de autoservicios como Comercial Kywi S.A y Ferrisariato así como tiendas especializadas. El tamaño de mercado actualmente es de 4´850.000,00 dólares, de los cuales usd.2´240.000,00 corresponde a extintores de 10 libras ABC y de usd.960.000,00 a extintores de 2lbs ABC. Es importante señalar que luego de realizar el análisis financiero el valor actual neto VAN nos da un valor positivo de $1´336.133,9 que nos demuestra que el proyecto es viable. Asimismo tenemos una Tasa Interna de Retorno TIR del 45% lo cual nos hace ver que esta es la tasa máxima que se puede descontar para que el VAN siga siendo positivo. La empresa se proyecta en el corto plazo se planea diversificar la producción a otro tipo de extintores para satisfacer el mercado local, asimismo en un mediano plazo se estima ingresar con estos productos a los mercados Peruano y Colombiano con quienes tenemos un acuerdo de libre comercio.
