“La Pradera” is an area that is currently being rehabilitated and rebuild; this is an area where new restaurants, shops, offices, homes and entertainment spaces are being implemented and the new government platform that will occupy a large space in the area. This project aims to be a connecting point between different areas of the city of Quito as the Mariscal, La Pradera and Carolina park. Therefore, a cultural, commercial and administrative center is planned in this area, which has as its final objective, to be a meeting point for the every publics in the area, such as students, foreigners, executives, families, etc. Then we can observe this proposal comprised of three different programs placed under a concept of centrality through two buildings that contain offices, shops, theater, cafeterias, bookstore, library, gallery, cinema, etc.
La Pradera es un sector que actualmente está siendo rehabilitado y reconstruido; siendo esta una zona donde se están implantando nuevos restaurantes, comercios, oficinas, viviendas y espacios de diversión; además de la nueva plataforma gubernamental que ocupará un gran espacio en la zona. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo ser un punto conector entre varias zonas de la ciudad de Quito como es la zona de la Mariscal, la Pradera y el parque de la Carolina. Por ello se proyecta un centro cultural, comercial y administrativo en dicha zona, que tiene como objetivo final, ser un punto de reunión de los diversos públicos existentes en la zona, como son estudiantes, extranjeros, oficinistas, familias, etc. A continuación se puede observar esta propuesta comprendida por tres diferentes programas emplazados bajo un concepto de centralidad mediante dos edificaciones que contienen oficinas, comercio, teatro, cafeterías, librería, biblioteca, galería, cine, entre otros.
