Description: The intention of the project is delivering to the people a public space that looks over the identity feeling, for what uses services of support that will allow the cultural activities development. In addition to that also one thinks about how to link both sectors of the area to create a cultural trip up and down side of the city. As it is considered a justification that the current head office of the Department of Culture is not adapted by its place, by high transport congestion and by the absence of public spaces, as well as the building seems not to have the architecture most adapted to represent our society identity.
La intención de plantear La Nueva Sede del Ministerio de Cultura es el entregar a la gente un espacio netamente público y que un espacio que vele por el sentimiento de identidad, por lo que se emplea servicios de apoyo que permitirán el desarrollo de actividades culturales. Además de que también se busca vincular ambos sectores del terreno para crear un recorrido cultural de un lado a otro lado de la ciudad. Como justificación se considera que la actual sede del Ministerio de Cultura no es apropiada por su ubicación, por alta congestión vehicular y por la falta de espacios públicos, además que el edificio parece no tener la arquitectura mas apropiada para representar lo que es la identidad ecuatoriana.
