Esta investigaci?n, se centra en el rol del directivo en la preparaci?n de los docentes de Bachillerato para el fomento de la lectura en los estudiantes de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional Julio Mar?a Matovelle. A partir de esta problem?tica, se plantea como objetivo general proponer un plan de capacitaci?n docente para el fomento de la lectura. La investigaci?n se desarrolla desde el paradigma sociocr?tico y el enfoque cualitativo. Adem?s, se aplica la metodolog?a del estudio de caso, conformado por el directivo y los docentes de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa antes mencionada. Se seleccionaron t?cnicas como: entrevista, observaci?n y an?lisis de documentos, cuyos resultados fueron triangulados; lo que demostr? que los docentes no han recibido capacitaci?n para el fomento de la lectura y no saben c?mo trabajarla adecuadamente; mientras que los estudiantes no leen con frecuencia, no tienen h?bito lector y presentan dificultades en la comprensi?n lectora. Para dar soluci?n a estas dificultades se dise?a un plan de capacitaci?n basado en la Lesson Study y el trabajo cooperativo, est? estructurado por: fundamentaci?n, marco legal, objetivo, principios metodol?gicos, ruta de capacitaci?n, seguimiento y evaluaci?n, plan de mejora y la valoraci?n de las investigadoras sobre los resultados que se esperan alcanzar con la aplicaci?n de esta propuesta. Se llega a la conclusi?n de que el plan de capacitaci?n preparar? a los docentes para el fomento de la lectura, en el que el rol del directivo cumple una funci?n primordial en este estudio y en la calidad de la instituci?n educativa.
This research focuses on the role of the manager in the preparation of high school teachers for reading development in students of the Julio Maria Matovelle Fiscomisional Educational Unit. Based on this problem, the general objective is to propose a teacher-training plan to develop reading skill. The research performs from the socio-critical paradigm and the qualitative approach. In addition, the methodology of the case study is applied, form by the director and the high school teachers of the aforementioned Educational Unit. Techniques such as interview, observation and document analysis were selected, whose results were triangulated. These results showed that, teachers have not received training in order to develop reading skills and they do not know how to work it properly. While students do not read frequently, so they do not have a reading habit and have difficulties in reading comprehension too. To solve these difficulties, a training plan based on the Lesson Study and cooperative work is designed. It is structured by, foundation, legal framework, objective, methodological principles, training route, monitoring and evaluation, improvement plan and the researchers' assessment of the results that are expected to be achieved with the application of this proposal. As a conclusion, the training plan will prepare teachers for the development of reading skill, in which the role of the manager plays a fundamental part in this study and in the quality of the educational institution.
