Estudio de adaptación de ocho genotipos de papa (Solanum tuberosum) con características de agroindustria en dos localidades de la sierra norte

Ocho genotipos de Solanum tuberosum se evaluaron, en las localidades de San Isidro- Carchi Tumbaco-Pichincha, utilizando un diseño experimental completamente al azar con tres repeticiones y replicado en dos localidades. Se analizó adaptabilidad, rendimiento y calidad en fritura, para identificar los mejores genotipos con características agronómicas y agroindustriales. Se aplicó el modelo estadístico de Eberhart y Russell para la evaluar adaptabilidad y estabilidad de los genotipos, el mismo que identificó al genotipo g4 como estable, puesto que obtuvo un coeficiente de regresión βi=1; desviación de la regresión S2di=0.09 y un rendimiento promedio de 38.21 t/ha. Para seleccionar los genotipos en esta investigación se planteó un índice de selección, el que evaluó las variables importantes y representativas del ensayo.
Eight Solanum tuberosum genotypes were evaluated in the towns of San Isidro-Carchi and Tumbaco-Pichincha, using a completely experimental design with three repetitions and replicated in two locations. The adaptability was analized, performance and quality in frying to identify the best genotypes with agricultural and agro-industrial characteristics. It was applied a statistical model by Eberhart y Russell to evaluate the adaptability and stability of genotypes, the same identified the genotype g4 as stable, since coefficient obtained a regression ßi= 1; S2di deviation= 0.09 regression and an average yield of 38.21 t/ha. To select the genotypes in this study was stablished an index´s selection, this evaluated the important variables and representatives of the essay
